SYNOPSIS
No amount of wealth, talent, physical beauty or any other desirable attribute or accomplishment can correct feelings of low self-esteem or misconceptions about your value to your family or society. To know that you are good enough without needing to prove anything to anybody, all you need to do is treat others like they are good enough without needing to prove anything to you, and the best way to do this is by following the Four Bases of the Golden Rule: (1) be aware and sensitive to how your actions affect the feelings of others, (2) don’t do for others what others can do for themselves, (3) say no and set limits with those who act selfishly; protect yourself, and (4) never judge others to be undeserving of your kindness or generosity.
